Fun in February

Little Lids

Can you tell what I do all day? Yep, somebody is mimicking Mommy. Gracie's eyes are a wee bit straighter. Her hair is growing and getting thick!

Morgan Lake all frozen with a homemade ice skating rink

My kids are like vampires.....they can't stand the sun in their eyes.

Twinkle Toes minus 2 teeth!

Slacker doesn't begin to describe my status with the blog. I just haven't had time lately to get everything done. Now that I don't work anymore with my home business, I seem to have less and less time. How? I have no idea. It seems I got way more accomplished when I had that fire lit under me. Between homeschooling Twinkle Toes, preparing a court case :(, researching the stock market, and everything else, I just can't find time right now to do much of anything. Now I have to do taxes. Ugh. My desk has serious piles on it and they don't seem to be getting any smaller.

Twinkle Toes got 2 teeth pulled out on Friday. Her teeth keep coming in behind her baby teeth and so they aren't coming out. Daddy has managed to pull a few of them and it is a nightmare. Lots of screaming! So we got into a special program at the dental school and they pulled 2 of her teeth for free. It was nitrous heaven! They loaded her up and she did beautifully. It helped she had a toy from Walmart to motivate her to get through it.

This weekend we went up to Morgan Lake and walked the whole way around with the kids. I love it up there! It is so magical with the snow. The lake was completely frozen so we ran all over it and someone else had plowed an ice skating rink. It was really neat. The kids had a blast and it was a beautiful sunny day to be outside.

Little Lids is 4 months old now. She is smiling and cooing a lot. She no longer screams bloody murder unless she is really mad. She is not sleeping through the night, darn it. She is thinking about rolling over, but not quite yet. She loves to eat her fingers. She is super sweet.

Twinkle Toes is really maturing a lot these days. The other day we were talking about a little girl that needed some help and we were discussing some things we could do. A little while later she sat by herself thinking and then she says, "Mom, I think God is going to use me to do something really nice for this girl." love that girl!
